Kamalina is responsible for developing CDM project opportunities in India. Kamalina’s prior experience is in the fields of environmental management, sustainable development, climate change and the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM). Prior to joining Carbon Credit Capital, Kamalina worked with Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Emergent Ventures India on originating CDM project opportunities and managing various facets of the Clean Development Project Life cycle. Kamalina’s expertise includes assessment and conceptualization of projects across various industry sectors under the voluntary and compliance carbon markets. Prior to this Kamalina worked with the Centre for Environment Education (Centre of Excellence, supported by Ministry of Environment and Forests, Govt. of India) on implementing an international sustainability education project. Kamalina has also contributed to assignments for international and national agencies such as the Australian Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts and the 4th International Conference on Environment Education. Kamalina has presented papers in international conference proceedings, newspaper and magazines.

Kamalina has a Master of Science in Energy Studies from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, Dehradun and a Bachelors of Science in Genetics, Microbiology and Chemistry from Bangalore University. Kamalina is an Indira Gandhi Postgraduate Scholar for the year 2006-2007.
